Camping/cottages "Lodochny Ruchey"

If you are looking for a quiet place for being out of the hassle and bustle from everyday then the camping and cottages Lodochny Ruchey is an option for you. It is located right on the shore of the White Sea beside a small stream named; Lodochny Ruchey. The location of the Lodochny Ruchey is amazing beautiful and consists of two plateau’s formed during the Ice age.

On the upper part are 3 cottages; 2 for 4 persons and 1 for 6 persons. There is a fire place and two big tables (one is under a roof). The camping has a small wooden house with separate cabins (with sink and toilet) for women and man.

On the lower part are camping places for cars with tents or campers, a summerhouse, a fireplace, table and a sauna house.

There is no electricity, but there are mobile networks (they are not stable, depends on weather conditions). Drinking water is from a small nature pond with sweet and clear water.

You are surrounded by pure nature, virgin forests on the background and the open sea in front of you. The ground is like carpet overgrown with berry bushes, numerous of flowers and juniper.

Lodochny Ruchey and neighbourhood

There is no civilization in the neighbourhood. The closest village is 20 km far. Kashkarantsy village is 20 km west from Lodochny and Varzuga 20 km to the east.

Every evening you fall asleep with tender sound of waves and every morning you are woken up by the scream of seagulls above blue water and the twitter of forest birds outside your window. You spend your time mostly outside because of the stable and sunny weather micro climate. See possibile activities below. You can pan-fry the catch of the day and enjoy the taste of nature sitting around the cosy fire looking to the sea.

It is easy to see wild animals like hairs, foxes, bears, especially if to go to watch them during an ebb-tide at night (nights are the same light as a days). Sea eagles and owls are possible to watch too. There is the famous Amethyst ex-mine on another side of Lodochny Spring where you can go to find your luck "Amethyst" stone.
